    Hi Everyone,

I noticed that 2009 MFD part number is not the same as 2006-2008 MFD part number. Does that mean that there is a difference in 2009 MFD compared to 06-08 ones?
I have this 09 with a blank MFD and I would like to replace with a used (and cheaper) 06-08 MFD. But since the part number is not the same I could not be sure if it's going to work fine.
    Any comments appreciated.
    Thanks...

I was under the impression that the problems with the solder cracks in the previous years was fixed in the latest units. Maybe that is the difference in part #.

I have a MFD touchscreen failure on a 2009 model. The MFD is with navigation and the part number is 86110-47260. I called a used parts seller on ebay who said this part is hard to find and that the 86110-47220 model will not work. However looking at the rear connections it appears very similar. Anyone know what the differences are?

Also I contacted Fujitsu Ten which manufactures these displays. They quote a repair cost of $1070.00 via there Los Angeles service. Fujitsu Ten Europe quotes a 368.00 euro charge for the same repair(less than half the US cost!)

Anyone use AutoBeYours or BBA Reman which offer repair service??

Contact member "justdidit". He's parting out his 2008 and you probably can get a deal on the MFD
