Hi folks! I joined the forum yesterday with the intent of helping a friend of mine in NH sell her 2010 Prius II. She needed a larger vehicle and now needs to sell this one. It's a 2010; being a middle-aged widow lady and not much of a "car person", she can't seem to get me details about the model or trim level. It's silver with gray interior, has 55,145 miles on it, and is in excellent shape; well-maintained. It comes with a transferrable 8 year or 125,000 mile warranty. She's asking $15,600. Comments? Suggestions? She has already bought herself a used Ford Escape, and I hate to see her stuck with two vehicles. She has an ad on Craigslist for it, and I've put a similar one up for her on Autotrader. For some reason, I'm unable to put links to either ad here. Thanks for any interest or helpful suggestions! Doug
she can call her insurance company for the package #, would be helpful in determining value. all the best!
Thanks! She wasn't able to find anything, but I located a site where I could punch in the VIN and ascertain the trim level. I have edited my original post. Doug
kbb shows it for $13,500., but sometimes it depends on availability and what all. as they say, it's easier to come down than go up. all the best to her!
Thanks! She may very well be a bit high. I think she is expecting the extended warranty to add some value; I have no idea what that is worth, or what she paid for it. Either way, she isn't getting much interest so far. :-(
well, the warranty is definitely worth something. you may want to try and find out the details, as the hybrid system comes with a standard 8/100 or 10/150 warranty, depending on what your state mandates.
