Preparing for a another severe winter, any recommendations for a 2010 Prius IV remote car starter? It would be nice to have windows defrosted before leaving to work. Most important feature is range and maybe some feedback mechanism to know if it started when no line of sight. Smartphone control would also be nice if it didn't involve monthly fees.
thanks, any problems with the service like server lag? I called a local car electronics shop and am probably going with a viper system once I get more details from them.
The Viper system is a very well made overall product. They manufacture the DB-ALL interface that it is a breeze to install and very economic.
I had some issues when I first got it about four years ago, but I'm an early adopter, so I end up being a beta-tester... In the last few years, I haven't had any issues.
