I have a kind of brownish stain on all four wheels - comes off with fantastik or other cleaner but an irratation, and it comes right back. Anybody know what causes this? I know, I'm opening myself up to some jokes on this but...
the first thing to come to my mind was also brake dust, though that tends to come from disc brakes, and the prius has rear drums. still, i guess it could be brake dust anyway. there are special sprays available at auto supply stores for that, and they work quite well though you should try to keep the stuff off the painted surfaces.
