I am waiting on my 55w HID Xenon Conversion Kit - H11 to arrive. It is pretty much plug n play, but does anyone know how to connect the relay (come with the kit)? Hybrid is new to me...

No relay should be required. Your normal bulb is 55 watts so why a relay?

The operating power is 55w, but the ballasts can draw more than that upon startup/igniting the HID bulbs.

If you experience any problems, it's usually a failure to ignite. Flickering is caused by a bad ground connection or a failing bulb.

If you want to use the relay, attach the wire that goes normally to the battery to one of the open terminals in the rear of your engine fuse box. Here, it is the terminals with the red wires. Use a standard 1/4 inch push on type terminal:

I just finished installing my 55w morimoto kit. For time being I just have zip tied the relay behind the driver side headlight.

Where did you put your relay ?, I would appreciate a picture of relay mounted.

+1 for relay not being necessary. I have a 55w kit as well. No flickering, no fuss, no aftermarket relay. Plug and play.

let's say it like this: a relay for sure doesn't do ne harm, but gives quite a lot of peace of mind /

Relay provides an extra layer of non OEM wiring where things can go wrong.
