Hi all! Looking for ideas for rims for my C. I want to keep the stock tire size, and MPG are most important to me. Any suggestion is a good one. Thanks in advance.
Isn't the stock steel rim like 15x5? The Konig Candy's are 15x7, so are you going for a stretched tire look?
With MPG a priority and a very limited selection of rims for the stock tires, you might consider keeping the stock steel wheels and changing their appearance. I got wider wheels and tires staying in the 15" diameter. Tires were only 185/60 but was surprised how much I lost in MPG. I painted the stock steelies, put some trim rings on and am very pleased with the results. This allowed me to return to OEM size tires. My MPG are back up and all is well. If money is no object and you are set on new wheels, check out the aftermarket wheel thread already in existence. Aftermarket Wheel Thread | PriusChat
I too was looking for some stock tire size friendly wheels. There are not too many wheel choices in the 5 to 6 inch width range but I came across these: Sorry, couldn't post links... Tire rack: Sparco Assetto Gara - inexpensive and come in many colors Evasive motorsports: WedsSport SA-10R - more expensive but IMO a nicer wheel You should also check out the WedsSport SA-15R and SSR GTV02
15x7 will be fine on the stock tires. Not much stretch if you ask me. I ran 15x7 +41 and was pretty low. No issues at all.
