Well, after sitting in the same position for so long, they're certainly not new. They may be fine for many miles, but I'd say your likelihood for spontaneous (seal) failure under use is much higher than 100k mile original struts. Like all used parts, it's a risk/reward decision.
Indeed, they were replaced when the p-car was 'new' with Touring type suspension -read again (!) Whether they will perform worse after 'standing still' for 9-years or mounted and bounced around for 100K miles is speculation at best and 'hearsay'... Monetary return is secondary -making use of them is primary
