    Hi.

Please help me. This thing drives me nuts.

I own 2014 Prius Four Sea Glass Pearl. I purchased mine in January. I have been through kinda busy days, so I could not get any chance to inspect my car carefully.

Unfortunately, I recently notice that there is a very slight gap (but noticeable) between the passenger side rear bumper and the quarter panel.

Plus, there is also another gap between passenger side tail light and the quarter panel.

UNLIKE DRIVER SIDE! Everything looks perfectly assembled on the DRIVER SIDE.

Mine has never been even in any minor accident. I have never sit on my bumper either.

After I noticed it , it drives me crazy. I already took mine to a dealership, and the technician told me that it is a very ordinary flaw that Toyota is aware of.

If it took 7 months for you to notice, I would guess it is not too bad.

I can't really see anything from the picture... I sat on my bumper and it moved enough for me to jump up thinking it was falling off. Thanks to that and perhaps a few bumps from parallel parking/parkers, I've had to push the bumper panel back in place several times. Consequently, it doesn't sit as tight as the drivers side does. So your bumper probably has a broken or stretched clip like mine. Remember the good old days with big ugly steel and rubber bumpers?

Mine looks like that on the left side, it will snap back in place, but pops back out later. There is a piece under that gap that needs to be replaced, but if I remember correctly it's like $16, so I haven't ordered it. I'm not the only driver and have notices some scratches and dings showing up so just decided to let it go.

I have the same gap on the drivers side. The gap gets bigger when the weather gets hot. It's just poor assembly. Typical GM errrr Toyota.
