Basic radio upgraded to MP3/WMA - Question on Functionality

    For those of you who have the MP3/WMA radio from factory ... does your head unit display any information about the MP3 track you are playing?

    I replaced my basic radio with an MP3 version from eBay. Seems to work great. However, I don't get any track information on the head unit when switching between tracks.

    Did I ask this question incorrectly or does no one use MP3 disks?

    Looks like I miss-worded the question ... still learning about car audio. Forgive me.

    I meant to ask if the touch screen above the radio displays track information when you play an MP3 disk.
