Sooo....has anybody done this? i want to build a custom kit pretty soon and i was wondering if i'll be the only one.
I saw some woman driving a truck on air (front lifted) other day, was pretty funny, she was all crouched forward trying to see what's in front of her, lol
Why? We installed air suspensions on cars and trucks that would be pulling a trailer with different tongue weights. Air suspension vs springs is a lot more complicated and has no real benefits unless you go to racing type suspensions that cost mopre than a Priuc4.
So confused as to how you say there are no real benefits. You can load up your car and air up so no rubbing or bottoming out. You can ride low and park lower to look "cool" if you know how to build a nice setup you can easily set up air for a sporty ride as well. I have to carry A LOT of stuff for work OFTEN my old car was a scion xb, slammed more than 4 inches on ksport racing coilovers. It handled amazing, it rode poor and when I had to load up for work i'd either rub like crazy or have to raise my rear collars. I eventually bought air shocks as a half arsed "fix". I used to loathe bagged cars as "cheating" now I get it. Ride a Lil lower than stock, keep the load carrying capacity and air out "like a boss" when parking at a meet/what have you. Just my opinion. Impatiently awaiting air suspension
