I just installed DDM tuning HID 35watt without relay harness, my driver side keep on turning off when I turn it on even when the car is running. Anyone faces this issue?
Swap the bulbs from one side to the other. If the driver's side exhibits the same problem after the bulbs are swapped, suspect a problem with the ballast. If the passenger side starts going out after the swap, replace the bulb. SCH-I535
Make sure all the connections, and ground connections are tight/solid as well before doing the bulb swap. SCH-I535
This is why I installed 55 watt. The canbus is expecting a 55 W light and thinks there is nothing there so it switches the power off. You have to install a relay or there are devices available to plug in line and it fools the canbus into thinking there is a 55 W draw.
I don't have the issue anymore. One day it just started to work by itself, but there are time that i have to turn on and off a few time to get it work. I will get a new set of HID once I get Katzkin leather install on my car.
