He guys, Got the HID Extra H11 kit for the prius, doesn't seem to be the right kit. I cannot lock the bulbs in place when I turn them. Any ideas? Henry
I've heard with other kits, you have to push in kind of hard before trying to turn to lock them in, because the rubber gasket is a little thicker than oem. SCH-I535
Is the issue that they're loose, or that they won't turn? Most of these cheap aftermarket kits use the same bulbs, so there shouldn't be anything special about this one. Are you aligning the tabs correctly to fit through the slots? Pics would probably help a lot.
Turn it clockwise to lock it in place (rotating from drivers side to passenger side). If you have not done it before it can be a bit challenging. Watch the above video around 2:00 minutes. That should also help.
I ran into issues with Xenon supply ones, they just don't seem to fit with ease, ended up in broken tab, their customer services is good, they charged 10$ as stocking fee. On other hand with one bulb broken, I had one ballast DOA. Xenon supply have changed their kit considerably now, with shorter wires running to ballast, the ballast is impossible to mount behind firewall as shown in the video, over all I can't comment on Bulb brightness. I am actually getting these. I am guessing these ones don't need relay wires as LED bulbs don't use that much current. But this one has a LED driver though. Not sure if they are true to what the lumens is rated on them 6000 lumens both bulb. Any body have LED H11 bulbs installed as a MOD ?, would like to know how they are behaving Products-Gt lighting USA is hid and led offroad lighting system wholesaler in Arizona US.
