I need to replace a set of damaged trim rings and prefer to leave them on my car. Does anyone have a set to sell at a reasonable price? If so, please contact me. These are the standard trim rings for an 06 Prius.
As I posted on another trim ring thread, my dealer quoted me $44.95 per ring. The private sale person indicates their value to be $55 ea. I've already committed to giving two sets away (one from my '04), charging only for postage and my wrapping materials (five custom-made bubble-wrap envelopes to ship 8 rings--about another $2 on top of postage). There could be a land-office business in trim rings through PC, as so many take them off their cars and so many others scratch them up on curbs. It'll probably never happen, but it might be nice if there could be an approximate "standard price" for unblemished ones, say, on the order of the $25 ea ($100 for a set) the other person posted. Unless people are selling them on eBay for $15, that is.
I still have 4 in great shape sitting in my garage...would sell them for 100 plus shipping...let me know!
I would offer $100 total for your 4 rings...that includes shipping via UPS or USPS priority. I have an 05 prius, and that assumes the rings are like new, without scratches...I would like to obtain your lug nuts too, I can't recall if you remove the rings if you still use the same lug nuts or not.
