Rolling Coal Epic Fail....

    For those of you that have had the privelege of getting smoked out by these modified diesels, you're going to love this.

    On my way to work this morning I am stopped at a stop light in the right lane. A diesel truck pulls up to the stoplight on my left and I hear him spooling his turbos, so I rolled up my windows for what is about to come. The light turns and I am bathed in a cloud of deep black smoke, but when the smoke cleared, I saw that this idiot was bitch slapped by a dose of karma. He was obvioulsy paying attention to only me and the black cloud that he was vailing over me, because he failed to notice the flatbed semi that had turned into his lane while we were stopped at the light. He hit at what I would estimate to be 50 mph, and never hit the brakes.

    I decided to wait for the police to arrive, in a nearby parking lot, along with the soccer mom that was behind me at the light so that we could do our civic duty in being witnesses to this idiot's act and to make sure that he couldn't say the semi cut him off. We laughed as he screamed obsenities to any onlooker that showed interest, and proceeded to kick the remaining side panels of his truck. Once the police arrived, and he was hauled off in an ambulance, the officer let me take a quick picture of the aftermath.

    The pickup truck drivers have a huge weakness for prius. I recently passed a slow poke driver (in no passing zone; he probably did that for a purpose) and he got so enraged he chased me with lights flashing, sounding horn and flipping birds. I flipped him too and took his picture in case something bad would happen. Some old retired prick going to a doctor's office, BTW, seeing where he eventually went. Some people are down right nuts.

    I like the story, but 50 mph from a stop to the middle of the intersection ?
    I also wonder how you saw things so well inside a cloud of soot.

    ^^ It sounded to me that the collision was not in the middle of the intersection, but a ways beyond it. The flatbed turned on from a side direction while OP and PU were stopped for the traffic light.

    Onager found the photo source -- good for him.
    At least in Chrome, I can 'search' for a photo by right-clicking on the photo.

    Trolling is just not as much fun anymore with Google taking away our rights. Or something :p
