No the first amendment is Not your friend here

    Over the last few days I posted 2 articles of my testdrives of the new Mercedes Fuel Cell car and the BMW 535 diesel car (an awesome machine). The moderators erased both. They are completely gone (not even listed under my profile page). I can lay my hand on no part of the 1st amendment that says "you have freedom of speech/press except when we don't like your article" and then erase it.

    Conclusion: The House of Pancakes description is wrong & really needs to be updated, if the new policy is antithetical to the 1st amendment. :) :D

    While some of that has happened on here in the past with no explanation.....................
    Given the other problems you have been having with the forum lately, are you really totally absolutely sure that the messages really got posted in the first place ?? It is possible that they didn't.......or that the system decided there was something wrong with them and automatically discarded them.

    PC is a privately owned/funded website, the owner can sensor anyone/anything he chooses 1st amendment doesn't apply.


    When I worked for Radio Shack back in the 80's- there was a monthly meeting with quite a few disgruntled store managers present.
    The District Manager had been quiet for a while- but finally reached his grousing limit saying "it's their ball, their bat and their playing field! ... if you don't like it... leave!" It got pretty quiet after that.

    I suggest you consider PC in the same light.....

    Other than censorship- have you considered website problems may have played a role in your situation?

    Yes but the principle of "Don't bite the hand that feeds you" DOES apply.
    Danny has typically been VERY poor about addressing complaints from his "customers", lately at least.
