Interested in knowing what adaptations others requested the Toyota dealership make at the time of purchase when they would be done at no cost? I'll request: - odometer be converted to metric - reverse audio beep be changed from repetitive to a single beep What else??? Thanks in advance.
You have posted this in a Prius v forum, yet you list yourself as having a Prius Liftback, I am first going to assume you are getting the station wagon. http://www.toyota.com/t3Portal/document/om/OM47840U/pdf/sec_06-02.pdf Here is what you or the dealer can change in the US. I want all doors to unlock when I grab the drivers door handle (chivalry may not be dead, but it is lazy) I want the fob to unlock all doors in one push, not just the drivers door. I want the headlights to turn off with a 0 second delay (I park in a lit garage) My Reverse buzzer buzzes just once There are other choices as well but I like the default for them. In the US, the odometer cannot be set to metric, only the speedometer. In the event that you meant to get a Liftback and are in the wrong forum, here is the same chapter for the US Liftback. It will have different rules. http://www.toyota.com/t3Portal/document/om/OM47857U/pdf/sec_06-02.pdf
I'd like my drivers door only to unlock when I hit the fob once or grab the drivers door handle, my wife drives the car occasionally. Fob twice unlocks all doors and trunk. I'd like my v3 to have fake-leather seats like the v5 but I don't want the 5's extras. (kit for this) I'd like DRLs on my v3. (kit for this).
Thanks for the alert of being in wrong forum...which I am. I'm a newbie and have a Prius Two not the v. Before I jump to that forum, for what it's worth for those interested, the odometer on the standard Prius can be switched to metric with a special tool dealerships and some mechanics have. Cheers.
Can beeps and/or flashing head/tail lights when the doors are locked/unlocked with fob be turned off at dealer? I don't need to waken light sleeping neighbours when I arrive/depart in the wee hours. I don't lose my car in lots and don't necessarily want any old lurking Joe to know which car I'm headed to in a deserted lot. I'd prefer to be a bit more stealth.
page 3 of the second PDF lists Operation Signals (Buzzers) which defaults to 7. You, or the dealer, can turn them down or off (0)
