WTB: Thule roof rack for 2006 Prius

    I'm looking for a roof rack for my prius but unsure of the sizes....the thule and yakima websites aren't very forthcoming with sizing info. I'd be interested in picking some up 2nd hand if anyone has some to sell.

    Hi Chris, I'm likely in the same situation. I too have a 2006 Prius. I checked REI and a few other places, and they are available but pretty expensive. For the record, they said I need the 480 foot pack ($195) the 1345 fit kit ($60) and the 50" crossbars ($100). $355--Ouch.

    I have an older Thule roof rack that I'm trying to adapt. It will fit on, and my bars are long enough, but it really needs a different fit kit since mine fit an older Honda Accord. I have a couple bike front fork mounts that will still work, but need it mainly for a paddleboard and kayak.

    I read in another thread that I needed to find a 2124 fit kit. However, I can't find one used and Thule doesn't make that model anymore. I really don't want to spend $350 when all I need are the rubber pads that conform to my Prius. Does anyone know of a better solution--or maybe a source of used 2124 fit kits?

    Hi Chris,
    I have a used roof rack for the 2005 Prius I just put up for sale here too. I used it maybe once and have to dig for it in my garage. Im assuming it will fit a 2006 also, but you may want to look into that. Once I find it I'll tell you the brand and model if it says it.
