New to the Prius world after research lead me to the conclusion that I could actually save money by trading my paid for 2007 Ford Escape V6 and acquiring a Prius with it's payment and fuel savings for my ~ 30 mile daily commute. Been driving it for two weeks now and had my first extended drive yesterday. Managed 60mpg on hilly back roads and state highways over about 135 miles. Doing quite a bit of reading and online research to learn how to get the most out of our Hybrid. This looks like a great place to learn!
Welcome and congratulations. After eighteen months, I still haven't lost my zeal when driving my Prius. Whether my mileage is .999 or 50 mpg plus, it's still exciting.
