Neodymium N52 magnet safe in 2002 Prius?

    I was considering using N52 magnets for a dash mount application in my 2002 Prius. Can these magnets damage anything in the car?

    Yes. They will neuter your credit cards if your wallet gets too close!

    I saw one video where having the magnet near the ignition keyhole cause the car to not start. It was not a Prius, though. Was just wondering. I know magnets can negatively affect some electronics and in some cases mechanical devices.

    I bet magnets would be fine, I might put some in if I ever have to pull the dash.
