I'm considering purchasing a Gen II project with 400k miles on it. To my understanding from the owner, it has a bad transaxle. I get lots of codes when I hook up techstream, not sure if they are all related to the transaxle. I do have an extra transaxle that has a bad mg2 that I swapped out not long ago, hopefully this car can be put together like Frankenstein with the 2 transaxle components.

Here are the codes I'm getting, hopefully someone can help me determine where these codes originate.

    c1259
    c1310
    c0200
    c0205
    c1241
    c1532 (under EMPS)
    POA92

    Thanks for everyones input......

Just off hand the one starting with P I believe is related to the hybrid battery. I think anyway.

All the codes I looked up are located in that link I posted. I believe it has EVERY code for the prius. No offense but I don't want to look up everyone's codes lol. Just click the link and they're pretty east to find. Be sure to bookmark the page.

Thanks for the info. Seems like everything is not transaxle related. I have to rethink this Frankenstein project....

He said 400,000 on his first post. That is a ton of miles.

brooks you may need a new hybrid battery, or it could just be the 12 volt.

Lucas Electric brings back memories of the British bikes I used to have. We called Lucas magnagens ( Generators) the prince of darkness.
    Thanks Lucaselectric for the thought.....
