    Hello

I converted my prius several years ago with the Hymotion System in a 2005 Prius. Now the Hybrid battery is kaput and the Toyota folks will not replace it because the A123 system is in the way and it is "too dangerous" for them to deal with it. I called the place that put in the system originally in LA but they are not interested in dealing with it. Anyone suggestion about how I can get the A123 battery removed so my Prius can get serviced? Thanks!

I finally got hold of Galpin motors. They will remove the battery, I am afraid of how much they will charge to dispose of it! Expensive to be a pioneer. But I love my Tesla!

Tricky part about ebay is that you'd want to have it sold with local pick up.

Shipping a large lithium battery requires a shipper that will handle hazardous materials.
Costs extra than a plain old package.
