The GPS system in the 2006 Prius creates a list of previous destinations that are used for later quick recall. How do you delete one of those or all of them? I am not talking about the memory points. The memory points can be deleted easily. I just haven't found the way to delete one or all of the items in the "Previous Destination" list. Anyone have any suggestions? No, it is not in the manual. I have already looked. I appreciate any ideas or suggestions. Cheers p.s. The list I speak about above is observed by first hitting the DEST button then clicking "PREVIOUS".
Please remember, I am asking about how to delete the "Previous" list after you hit the Destination button. The info on how to delete memory points is totally different. Try to delete the "Previous" list. I can't yet. I would appreciate any help from users here. Thanks.
On the 2004, you press the MENU button by the screen, go to "Setup", and somewhere on that big menu there's a "Previous destinations: Delete" button. It'll probably be somewhere similar on the 2006.
Thanks for replying......however...... There isn't one of those for deleting Previous Destinations. It allows you to delete memory points but not previous destinations. There is a difference. Have I come across another 2006 bug/glitch? Any other 2006 owners confirm this?
If I remember I will try to find out where to delete those when I get home tonight. I do remember deleting previous destinations somewhere but I cant remember where.
Hit menu then my places and at the bottom of the screen is a button delete previous points hit then confirm that should do it Rich (another round guy)
Nope, that doesn't do it. Try it. Memory points are what you are referring to. I was referring to "Previous Destinations".
KMO, you were right after all. I hadn't read your instructions properly. Setup, indeed has the delete previous destinations option. Thanks. Edit...... I was reading a 2005 owners manual (pdf format) when I agreed with you. I just discovered that they moved this function to the "My Places" of the Menu screen. There is a big button at the bottom of the screen which clearly states "Delete Previous locations". This was confusing because above that they were talking about memory points which is totally different. In any case, you can delete one or all previous locations. Thanks everyone for their help.
I am looking at page 53 of the 2006 NAV instructions for deleting destinations. The procedure is 1. Touch "Route" on the Map 2. Touch Delete in the screen which comes up 3. Select the destination to be deleted on the screen which comes up 4. Click OK.
