Loved my 2011 Prius 4 but now have my 95 year old mother with me and to put my scooter and her walker in the back i had to lower the back seats and only then had two seats. I traded for a Prius v five and now with scooter and walker in the back i have not lost any seating. Now with the added height i hope now i will no longer scrape the front bumper on curbs.Love the ride and feel of the road,no comparison to the liftback.I lost a little mpg but not much. I found a new loaded 2013 and the price was right.Having a little problem learning how to auto park but haven't really tried it enough to learn how to use it. My insurance dropped $31.00 every 6 months because of the crash avoidance etc
Duane, that s great. so you got a Prius V at the v trim level? that cool, my 2010 may be on the chopping block and I like the hatch, don't really NEED a wagon...but want one...
on cars.com coleman toyota has a 2013 v (not the wagon) with 18K for 19,900 and lustine has a 2013 iv for 19,900 with 9k miles. both vins decode as iv's a few V's but nothing real close Used Toyota Prius v - in 22182 - on Cars.com if I'm going to get a newer car I'd like ot have fewer miles on it... than the one I'm getting rid of...
Marc- there's a guy in NoVA trying to sell a nice looking Prius in sales section... I see if I can find it. ... Loaded with all package V options, including the hard to find Advanced Technology Package: radar cruise control, lane keep assist, parking assist, and collision avoidance. Power everything, leather seating, heated seats, satellite radio, bluetooth, navigation, keyless ent Read more: http://priuschat.com/threads/2010-prius-package-v-w-atp-in-virginia-18-900.137597/#ixzz32MO30wVa Follow us: @PriusChat on Twitter | PriusChat on Facebook
+1. That monstrosity was the main reason I chose the v over the hatchback. Its an astonishingly poor piece of design work.
2012 Toyota Prius v Three Used Car Details | Cook Volkswagen of Bel Air | Fallston, Maryland Volkswagen Dealer serving Baltimore MD
the one in B-more was a "scam" low price leader to get you looking...and then jack price on extra's looked at one in culpepper trim v 20900 great price, but no wiggle room, as they owe on it still.... noticed the wagon when the seats are down, doen't look as "smooth/finished" as in the orginal hatch.... not a deal breaker, but an annoyance...
Be sure to check carmax.com...they have some new Toyotas in Laurel MD...used Prii in Dulles Sounds like you could get a PiP from Dianne in CA for $25k add $1k for shipping subtract $2.5k Fed tax credit
20k is max i want to spend...heck the V i saw in culpepper for 20900 blows anything away carmax would have. and I could probably swing 20900 but I get some sht from my wife...for creeping on the price... carmax is too expensive... I got a few more weeks to watch and wait... it kills me I know the wagon for 20900 is a great deal We'll see if its still available in a couple weeks. Maybe they'll come down a bit... biggest "hiccup" in this deal is the fact they still owe on it... and getting a clean title at the time of transaction will be the issue...
I took my v in to get inspected the other day and, while waiting, wandered the local dealer's lot to see what they had on it. 2 used vs looked like 2 or 3 models with cloth but $26.5, 27.5k!! 2 v 2s new both at over $30k sticker. Amazed at the seeming value retention.
By B-more, do you mean Fallston MD near Bel Air? It seems that car has been for sale for three months. It has a sweet price online, but you are saying that is bogus?
average it was this one... 2012 Toyota Prius v Three, $18,988 - Cars.com their out the door price ended up being 24K+ The car is a local car, that was sold and serviced about 2 miles from that location. based on the carfax they tried to jack price by saying they had reconditioning fees, delivery charges, prep, ect... but the first owner had been taking the car in for oil changes every 3k... so all the extra's were BS... some one who takes their hybrid in for oil changes every 3K miles the car would have been immaculate on a trade in.... I offered 21 out the door. they would not budge....so it sits since march of this year.... drove nice, even had a Subwoofer installed just a wasted drive.... which really ticked me off...so i walked....I think they were surprised that I walked...
So they did not have Better Business Bureau plaques covering their walls? Thanks for the info, you saved me a long trip. Incidentally, I originally found this thread by doing a search on the VIN.
