This evening on our way home from a visit with my sister I rolled down my husband's window, the front passenger one. He went to roll it up and it automatically rolled down when it got to the top. I tried from my side and it did the same thing. If we rolled it up slowly, not auto, it was fine. I've only had the car since the beginning of May so stuff like this shouldn't happen, right? Is this something that should be covered under warranty? Oh and I tried it again after we got home and I turned the car off then back on and it did it again. Any ideas I could try or just take it to the dealer? iPhone ?
probably a switch adjustment. shouldn't happen, but things happen. def. warranty. unfortunately, no one pays you for your time.
Okay. That's good to know. My sister's radio crapped out in her 2010 and they said it wasn't covered under warranty but then said it was because she bought certified used. They didn't save the DVDs for programming from her old one and didn't have any from the used unit they replaced it with so they had to order her some and are sending them to her, it's been a month. :-( I know with electronic components like that they'll try to say it isn't covered. iPhone ?
Because she bought certified used it was covered. That goes up to 100,000 and 10 years maybe. She got lucky and it was covered that way. She only had it a year when that happened. iPhone ?
Reset the window sensor. It is in the manual. Run the window down but holding your finger on the button and keep your finger on the button for four/five seconds after it hits bottom. Then run the window up and again keep holding the button after it hits top. Let us know if it works pleas.
I tried it and couldn't get it to reset. It wouldn't stay up long enough for me to hold the button to reset it. I took it to the dealer and they reset it and had me home in time to see my little boy before he fell asleep. iPhone ?
