Hi all. I have wanted a Prius ever since a co-worker had one when I used to work for a Pizza Hut. Many years later and a new job later I decided to look for an older high mileage one and take my chances. Went to check out a 2006 Prius at the dealer and walk away with a Black 2011 Prius II with 63,000 miles. Prius came as base option along with the lighted Prius Door sills. Carfax and Toyota's website confirm oil changes every 5000 miles and miscellaneous, so figure that is a plus on it being not abused as bad. I have only had her since Saturday but can not complain about getting about 53 mpg round trip for the 60 miles round trip I do for work. I hope I get many years out of her.
I came from a Lincoln Navigator and that was a gas hog, also have a 2003 Impala just about to hit 200k and she still gets 29-30 mpg on the highway. Our navigator shot craps with over 200k and knew that we needed another vehicle since I started my new job. I have no regrets so far and happy. Just wish I would have bought one sooner.
