I got my Zaino and 303 products the other day and did the interior. Wow, that stuff is great. I love the 303 protectant and the Zaino glass cleaner is amazing.

Next week I should have some decent weather for the Zaino polish. I was reading up a bit and saw a lot of talk about claybaring before putting the polish on. What do you guys think, should I bother?

It's a 2006 Silver Pine Mica. I had the dealer do the paint protectant stuff along with the scotchguard interior stuff. I've had it since early January with a fair bit of snow and salt on the roads. I wash it whenever there is a break in the weather. When I wash it, it looks perfect. Does the claybar give me something more?

Well, the claybar will probably remove the protectant you said the fealer put on. But it is probably no big loss - you want to remove other polish and any wax before the Zaino goes on. Read Nick T.'s explanation at:

He mentions a good way to tell if you need to use claybar.

It really doesn't take long to clay bar the Prius. I did mine in an hour (it was new and not too much contamination). I'd do it. You'll likely only have to do it once, and get it clean for your Zaino, to get the best result.
