Has anyone with bluetooth phone been able to dial by name ? What happens to me is that it recognizes my command and name that i request and then it tells me to press the off hook button... when i do that nothing happens. What am i doing wrong ? :-\ 06 HI package.
I have had no problems using "dial by name" - the system has never asked me to "press the off hook button". I use a Samsung Z500 cellphone. Perhaps your phone is not compatible with the Prius BT?
Mine has been hit or miss when using the voice recognition for Bluetooth dialing. I've had more luck dialing by saying the number rather than the name of the person, but sometimes when it tells me to press the talk button to send the call thru, nothing happens. Other times it works flawlessly. Most of the time I just do the speed-dial thing and try to be quick about it while driving. Or else I just wait till I'm stopped at a light and go thru my phone book instead.
I have no problem with the system recognizing my voice or command... Just actually executing the call... Truthfully its not a big deal ... right now i use the speed dial screen. I'm just curious what i'm doing wrong.
Yeah, same problem here. No problem with it recognizing what I'm saying. I may not have stated that very well in my above post, but the problem occurs when it tells you to push the button to connect, and you do, and nothing happens. :huh:
