I often put my iPhone in the front cup holder while driving. Normally the lid cannot close all the way with the phone in there. Somehow, the lid closed on it and now the phone is stuck in there. I can open the lid most of the way but there's not enough room for the phone to get out. I'd love to just take the lid off the cup holder but that doesn't seem possible (at least, with minimal tools required). Or is it? Any other ideas, or should I take it in somewhere?
This should help Then once you get the 2nd piece off it looks like you could unscrew the bottom part of the cup holder and get your iPhone out
I had a similar problem last night and thanks to some posts on this forum I was able to cleanly remove the front console and then remove the cup holder to retrieve my iPhone. hope it helps others who may have a similar problem.
