    I can not find a plug in play wire harness for a prius C. I seen tons of stuff online for a prius wire harness but nothing for a prius C. Anyone seen anything online for a prius C or how to hook up a universal wire harness? I know there are already forums on this, however since priuschat changed the page layout I can't find my way around. Thanks!

    You are REALLY going to try and pull a trailer with a C ??
    I'm pretty sure that is NOT recommended........and might explain why there is no harness available.

    If the plug on the taillights is the same as the reg prius, then I would just use that.

    Do the g really make a hitch for the C?

    VS980 4G ?

    They make hitches for smart four two. Anyways they make a prius C hitch for bikes racks.

    It looks like the plugs are the same however u may need to relocate the wires in the connector. I would buy 1 & give it a shot. If it doesn't fit, return it.....only thing u'll be out is S&H

    Check their return policy BEFORE you buy.
    Some (many) places do NOT allow returns on electrical parts.

    How hard is it to buy a universal brake light/trailer/toying wire harness splice/slice the wires and install it?

    Shouldn't be too hard once you gain access to the wiring by removing all the necessary trim panels, and figure out which wire is which. Then figure a path for the harness to exit the car.

    How much does a wire harness for towing cost? (Universal) What are the differences on it? How much would a shop charge to install it?
    How much is a hitch for a prius C?

    If you only want a hitch for a bike rack, why do you need a light adapter? Bike racks don't have lights.

    For a receiver hitch, here you go:

    Trailer Hitch for 2012 Toyota Prius c | etrailer.com

    That has a 1 & 1/2" receiver so you would need to find a bike rack that allows for that size. Something like this would work:



    You don't need any lights for a bike hitch. As far as towing, I wouldn't pull anything on the C other than this. You have <100 HP.

    You don't need a trailer wire harness for a bike rack. Just figure if I am going to put a hitch on, I might as well put a trailer wire harness to.

    Etrailer.com lists that as the trailer wire harness you requested info on. It usually connects the the tail lights to provide lighting function to trailers, etc.
