Android HU for prius ?

Looks like a capable unit. I already ordered an Ottonavi, and I'm a bit divided if that was a wise choice. One thing I count as a minus to this Android unit is that it only has blue backlight. Original Prii dash backlight is green and therefore that HU is not as stock looking as Ottonavi.

Where did you find one? I looked but all I found was for gen2 or Prius C.

 

Let us know how it goes. In particular trying to play music and having Navigation at the same time. Everywhere i've read, and even on my other android devices, the GPS volume seems too low.

 

I was looking at a 2007 S500 4Matic last month and found an Android head unit that supports Miracast - very neat option -
Eonon GM5159 | Car DVD | Specific Car DVD | Car DVD for Mercedes-Benz E-Class/G-Class/CLS-Class.

They have Toyota-specific models, but not one for the Prius... yet.

 

The unit is on its way over to me now. Ill keep you guys updated and will post the install

Ok. I got the unit today and got it installed in under 30mins. Great unit. Plug.and play and unit matches the decor and lighting.

Very cool!!! Are you running stock elsewhere? I would love a complete review/comparison versus the stock head unit (sound quality, features, ease of use, etc).
