Home link modification

    I added home link to our only Prius without, got the mirror off eBay it did not have the wire, got the wire from Subaru the taps were wrong so I had to reconfigure the plug. Tapped the red and white/bk strip for power. Works perfect.

    What does the home link mirror do? Isn't that for a garage opener?

    Ya garage opener and auto dims too at night. Got it in my plug in.

    Cool what's something like that go for? Was it meant to be I the plug in, or was it offered in the 08?

    Hey WNY, look on ebay for homelink mirror. The 2005-2009 is the same one for 2010+ i believe. I bought a 2007 one and put it on my 2014. Homelink is like an aftermarket part that toyota dealerships put on the cars.

    I believe the base plug-in don't come with it but the advanced package plug-ins do come with it already.
