Flew to NY from Miami to take Delivery of 2014 PPI

    The Prius Plug-In is not available in Florida, so I made the pilgrimage to NY to get one of my very own. Here are a few shots (way more to come from here near Miami Beach) from the drive back! Which, BTW, only took 3.25 tanks of gas!!!! (y) :D:p


    ***EV Friendly hotel ALERT*** $50 for the night, free homemade belgian waffle breakfast and a free charge! Even got me an extension cord (y) If you're driving the I-95 corridor, this place is .1 miles from the highway.

    I have thought about doing this myself. Why didn't you just go to VA though? That's where I would have went. I live in KY.

    Actually, the tristate area ONLY had a $6000 lease incentive for 24 month leases and a .00001 money factor (0% interest), so I am driving it so cheap it was worth the flight!

    How much does one end up paying for a PIP on a deal like that?

    I flew from Alabama to Springfield Missouri a few years ago to get a good deal on a vehicle so I am game:)

    Adam, Thanks for the heads up. I am also in South FL and looking for a place to get a new Plug-In. Did you negotiate the price/incentives before flying up to NY?
