reverse camera and line

As far as turning off the backup camera beep there is a way read the below link I don't know if there is any way to turn reverse guide lines on maybe someone else maybe can answer that ?

There was a post recently sketching out the scenario where you backed up a little because you had gone over the line at a stop signal, then got distracted while your foot was on the brake, then the light turned green... It convinced me not to get the reversing beep turned off, even though I always reverse when I park, at home as well as in car parks.

 

It doesn't have the assist lines.

 

Unlike the 2011 Five I had with the Advanced Technology package.

The backup camera in my '14 Advanced with Tech package has no lines, and frankly provides no guidance for distance. It's almost worthless.

 

It's funny, other manufacturers have dropped the lines, too.

 

I don't need the lines. After a bit of practice, I can tell approximately how far away is an object on the screen. What I do need is a front bumper cam, and if possible, a right-side cam. I have two such cameras on the way from China as we speak, and I'll see if there's a way to tie them both in to the display screen.
