In the last three years have owned the following cars: 2002 black Lexus sc430 2007 white BMW 328i 2013 white Scion frs 2005 silver Lexus ls430 Bought a 2012 Prius five w/atp with 8000 miles on Wednesday and love it so far. No the quietest or fastest but so far the most fun to drive for my flat straight road 50 mile round trip commute here in Florida. Plus this car has more gadgets than any other I've owned. I hope this one sticks around awhile! As a side note I went to Toyota in 2012 to buy a new Prius, but they had the FRS in the showroom and I bought it instead.
That is one thing about my Prius as well... It is really road noisy. I managed to block it out. Speaking of gadgets, my wife just purchased a 2014 Honda Accord EX-L. When the salesman was showing us all the gadgets (smart key, backup camera, etc), my wife was saying, "Our 2010 Toyota Prius can do that!" The only reason we got the Honda was because of the cost to service a Toyota in Hawaii is outrageous. There is technically only one Toyota dealer in Hawaii...Servco. So, you are at their mercy. The warranty is up, so I'll just look for a shop that works on hybrids... Alan
I was stationed in San Diego in the Navy and loved Hawaii. Never thought about car maintenance there. Everything else is priced higher for sure! That's crazy they only have one Toyota dealer.
Great car. Something about that color is familiar, but really like the 17 inch wheels. Let us know how it does on the road.
