For the "Team Virginia " 1000 mile attempt , I will check out the Colonial parkway between Jamestown and Yorktown because there are no lights or stop signs between the two and I think I can drive 25-30 mph safely there for the maybe 30 mile stretch. I tried The GW parkway from Alexandria to Mt Vernon, but it had more elevation change than I had thought and too many people trying to drive 45 mph. The nerve.
Well it was Saturday morning so maybe better than weekday rush hour. But you mentioned Autobahn, and I still have flashbacks to, ah, situations that occurred there, possibly a light form of PTSD! Will you be purchasing private or from a dealer? If from a NoVa dealer please let me know how it goes as currently I go to Miller in Manassas , but I am open to other dealers if good. Hope totaling did not involve injury to anyone.
