Has anyone has any problems with the recent BT plate sale? I placed my order and have the PayPal receipt to prove it. But the Prius Shop says I haven't made any order and has no tracking info. I emailed the shop, but no reply. Has this worked for most folks? Wazzup? Shop gone fishin?
I would suggest that you call our office and ask if we have received your order. If we have then we can supply you with a UPS tracking number for your BT Tech stiffening plate. There have been orders that were placed through the PC store but have not made it to us. These are isolated cases and fortunately does not happen often. Brian. please post when you get another load of stiffening plates. I too would like to order. And, perhaps you would explain to us the exceptional high price for what is obviously just a peice of metal. I'm willing to pay if it does all that many claim but still, the price? Thanks roger
I know the price is steep. I agree with that one. The product is well worth it though. If i'm correct, this plate starts out as a slab of aluminum. They probably send it in through a computerized machine that uses water and a drill bit to slowly saw away the design. the design is important for stability. It's a well engineered piece of aluminum and in my opinion well worth the price. Any other mod to this car will not be this easy to install and will not make such a huge improvement. not to mention will cost twice as much for something not as nice looking as this plate. check out sigma automotive. Price range in the 300 to 400 dollar range. you can do a google search for " sigma automotive prius" and you'll find it. about almost to the bottom of the page you'll start seing the chassis and tower braces. 365. ouch.
