Hey folks, My 2010 prius iv just bit the dust... and I am looking at a another prius. I can't afford a 2014 brand new by I am looking at all gen 3 again. in 2010 the prius iv had the usb port didn't they change the audio system in 2011 or what it 2012? just trying to figure out which trim levels after 2010 got the USB port. usb and blue tooth are my only "must haves" in another car...
Have you checked out Edmonds.com? You can research used cars and see all the specs and features going back years. iPhone ?
I think as long as you have the JBL system in the 2010 and 2011 model you'll get USB connectivity. I believe 2012 is the first year with entune and USB connectivity so JBL system isn't necessary to have USB.
Bill, thanks for the clarification...thats kinda what i was looking for, no JBL no USB... unless its 2012 or newer. one of the prii that I have my eyes on is a 2012 V III.. with 30K for 18,999 and 2010 iv for 19K but I gotta wait for the insurance check first...
That's weird. I have a 2011 with the JBL system and 8 speakers with XM radio. Great sound. Bit I have 2 regular lighter ports and an auxiliary port. Also have blue tooth hands free dialing and speech. Never saw a USB port though. iPhone ?
Did you look in the center console all the way at the bottom. I just replaced my complete system with alpine and below the flying bridge there is a blank small panel, I removed it and put in a panel mount usb. Priuslovers
