Thoughts? Granted, it's at a dealer I used to work at, but it's just how they roll. Trying to decide if I should get this one (blizpearl/dkgray) or wait to see what the new one is like, and THEN get a screamin' deal...

No reason not to wait, it might get cheaper, but I think you can get that price anytime, barring some unusual spike in gas prices.

Make sure its a 3, dealers are notorious of making mistakes in identifying between 2 and 3.
And the price drop doesn't surprise me as almost all of the car manufacture has some sort of hybrid so the market is getting very competitive.

I bought a 2011 Prius Two new during the Japan Tsunami. There were no Prius cars available here to buy at that time. Gas prices were going wild (as usual) in Chicago at about $4.65 a gallon. I paid sticker price of $25,000 for mine. I have no regrets. It just was not a buyer's market at that time. Just suck it up.

Minny, if you mean wait for the new Prius - the redesigned new model, it may be tempting. But don't think you'll get a screamin deal when it's released.

$22,500.00 for a 2014 Prius Two was best price I could fine recently. That price included all fees/taxes.

So $22,500.00 for a Three sounds like a great price to me.

Is that a drive off price with all fees/taxes included?

I paid 21.6k before TTL, 23k OTD for a new 2013 Prius Two in Jan: How to buy a car | PriusChat

I imagine you are talking before TTL and there is a about 1k difference between a Two and Three so this would be a warm deal. If your price is 22.5k OTD then you have a really good deal.

If you're a dice thrower, then I'd wait a bit longer and see if the G4 finally comes out of its gestation period.
I would expect that if people are salivating over the new model, then the G3 prices will drop even more.

You run a minor risk of having a CNN headline that starts out with "Middle East" ruin your plans, but if you're ready to buy NOW, you'll be ready to buy then.

    Good Luck!

Can you please advice about these two options?
2014 Prius II - $23,100 (out the door) - no additional accessories - 5 yr loan at 2.1%
2014 Prius II - $24,100 (out the door) - no additional accessories - 5 yr loan at 0%

This is in Texas. I would like to know if the price is reasonable.

    Thanks in advance.

Thank you. Would you mind if I ask whether you paid cash or got financing (and at what rate)?

I financed through my credit union for a very low rate to 1.24% for 66 months.
