Can you have your phone connected to the scanner and car (streaming music and for phone calls) at the same time?

I'm pretty sure phone calls will work, not sure of the other though.

We don't have any functionality to enable the remote starter kit.

    Yes, both.

There are no other apps (for iOS or Android) that can change Toyota settings. This is Carista's big unique feature. But there are lots of OBD diagnostic and display apps for both platforms. The ones for Android usually use Bluetooth devices (but technically can use WiFi as well), whereas the iOS ones can only use WiFi because Apple restricts standard Bluetooth communication.
We're looking into creating an iOS version of Carista: see Carista for iOS (iPhone / iPad / iPod touch) | Carista OBD2 - Vehicle Diagnostics and Customization

Downloaded from the play store and connecting through OBDlink MX. Keep getting the error that my vehicle isn't supported for customization. 2010 level II. Any suggestions? Tried on 2 different phones.

Some new settings are available, but not many for the Prius specifically. The connection to the vehicle is now more solid, so it's possible that you'll see new settings and/or error codes from more computers in the car.

Thanks for testing. Please let us know if everything is working fine.

The OBDLink devices are not supported for Toyota-specific features (like customization) because those devices comply with an older version of the ELM327 chip interface (version 1.3a). Carista requires an ELM327 version 1.4 or newer for that functionality. See Hardware | Carista OBD2 - Vehicle Diagnostics and Customization
THAT SAID, the new beta does add some support for these older interfaces. However, it may not have access to all settings that you'd otherwise see with a v1.4 device. Feel free to try it here: Beta-Testing | Carista OBD2 - Vehicle Diagnostics and Customization

Thanks! The beta works great. Any chance you will be adding more features (specifically the reverse beep) that are compatible with the OBD Link or should I grab a ELM327 adapter?

I'm having trouble trying to install a newly bought BAFX ELM327 adapter v1.5 on my Galaxy S3 with my Prius 2010

I plug it in the Prius port getting a single red light staying on the adapter I turn the car on then I go into my phones Bluetooth setting and no OBDII or OBD or anything close to that showing up in there I press bluetooth detect and still not showing up
All my other devices are showing up fine under bluetooth
    Something I'm missing ?????

I have a lot of crap in my bluetooth page it wasn't showing up as OBDII or OBD in there it was showing up as what looked like a ip or mac address until i clicked on it then it changed to OBD I thought it was just something related to my pc

Now I just need to figure out how to use the Torque app to shut down the reverse beep and seatbelt beeping

@ Todor: wouldn't it be possible to add a function to see the tire pressure? I was just playing around with my tis-tool & thought about this/
would be way more convenient than checking it by hand every couple weeks....

to reduce it to one beep you can use the carista app (there's no way you can silence it completely), for the seat belt reminders you need either the tis-tool or you have to go to a dealer & get it done there/
