    When I was in grade school, we would get a new kid in the class from time to time. If I mentioned pop and they looked confused, I knew they had just moved up from CA.

    If the subject interests you, there is an online quiz that attempts to pinpoint your location based on which words you use. It said I live in Portland, OR, which is 60 miles from where I was raised in Salem. If you have moved a lot, you will be all over the map.

    I usually find these surveys to be BS, but this one was the first that actually pin-pointed my location correctly within a few miles for the top two choices (Anaheim, Santa Ana/Irvine). Thanks for sharing.

    It pin pointed my home within a 10 mile radius.
