Driving a Hybrid can be a Spiritual Experience. It encourages you to Slow Down and Take the Road Less Travelled. This is quite a remarkable result for a Rural Drive. 70 MPG (Imperial). I drove from my house to Minden, over to Haliburton and Home again. Instead of taking the main County Roads, I took Kashagawigamog Lake Road which is slower and windier.
We love to take the road less traveled - often just taking a quiet country drive for the sheer joy of enjoying the scenery. Our most recent one covered 80 miles round trip with the ride out having some uphill travel with the Prius C getting about 55 mpg U.S. and the return trip a surprising 89.6. I didn't notice that until we arrived back home. Would that the world was always mostly downhill.
