I have a 2013 Persona Prius and I love it. My dad is tired of driving his 2000 clk430 that gets horrible gas mileage. I know the new ones is not too far out and we have seen some deals on the current model and my Dad doesn't care too much. They have a Prius 2 for 19,988 at a dealership here in Sacramento. I'm pretty sure it qualifies for the 0 percent for 60 months as well. Is possible to get better than that here in Northern California?
There's a big difference in equipment from a prius 2 and yours. Coming from a clk, you might want to get something more substantial than a prius 2. Go to truecar.com and price them. A new prius should be at least 2000 off msrp SM-N900P ?
Thanks for the info. My Dad used to have a 2000 Honda Insight and only went with the CLK because he got a great deal on it, but his heart is with a hybrid. He's also a simple guy who could care less for all the features. As long as it has power windows, power door locks and AC he is good to go.
Are you looking for new? There should be some good year end deals soon as the prius hasn't been a top seller this year, production probably exceeding demand for the moment. SM-N900P ?
yes...trying to take advantage of the financing. Used ones in the area pretty expensive on Craigslist and so on.
so I just called and its either 19,988 with no financing offer or 20,998 with 0 percent for 60 months. You either get 1000 factory rebate or financing offer. CLK is probably worth 5k. Only has 81k on it.
that's 5%. with low interest rates these days, you might be better off paying cash. but if you don't have it, that's still a very good deal.
So we decided to check out the car and decided to purchase it. It was 23,196 out the door for a silver Prius 2 and we got 0 percent for 60 month. Maybe we could have saved some more money by researching a little more, but my Dad was like let's be done with it so now we are done with it. Payment is only 387 per month and he should save 150 to 200 a month on gas so makes great sense financially.
25,235 is the total price(includes carpet floor mats and cargo mat and 810 delivery and processing fee) 24,200 is the suggested retail price
