After review the PC board and identify the MVCI cable and techstream are a good tools to have since the on board display does not really provide ALL the information for us. I am not trying to make drastic changes and just try to get my feet wet and understand what this tools could provide and do for owner like me. Run into a option and could not find too much information about it. Under the Customize Parameter/Security, it seems like we could enable the "DOP" security once we turn it on under "Option setup" My questions for expert out there are: 1. What this this "DOP" Security for? 2. Does the 2014 Prius two (base model) has this function at all? Thanks in advance

StarCaller, Thanks for the feedback. Hope someone knows more about this topic. I found on other web site it may works with the GBS (Glass Break Sensor) but there is no detail on what DOP security for.
I turned it on again & searched here for DOP/ found a few old threads which claimed that the alarm worked with gen2's / well, I tried everything - nada, no alarm at all/ now the question is, WHY is it there & one can enable it with 2014 model? The Security System Question, Again! | PriusChat
Bringing up an old thread here but I was very close to buy the RS3200+ security system then I stumbled onto this thread. Since I don't really need glass break sensor so I plugged in my computer and turned on security system and voilà! It works!! To try it out I opened the window, locked it, while keeping the key away from the car I reached in and opened the door after about 30 seconds. The alarm went off. Very nice!! Thanks for saving me some money!!
