water leaks

    i am considering purchasing a 2010 as an upgrade from my current 2008, i have been reading recently as these last 3 days of constant rain made me check my current one for leaks and like normally the battery tray was filled with water. does the gen 3 have this same defect and if it does as to where to look for it.

    If you make a formal complaint, maybe Toyota will address the issue with a recall. There shouldn't be any water in the battery area.

    No Gen III does not have the same defect.
