Toyota's used the same scissor jack and tire iron going back to the late '90s at least (based on the same we had in our Gen 1 Sienna). View attachment 64298 The lower 2 items are the emergency tire repair system, which come in the LH side underfloor compartment of the cargo area. This is, in fact, listed under "Standard Tool" for ZVW35s, specifically the plug-ins, but I've not found the jack or towing bolts anywhere (the general presumption I've gotten seems to be that Plug-Ins came with none of the upper items in lieu of the emergency tire repair system and "try to use roadside assistance first"). However, there're also this: 58708B CARRIER ASSY, JACK; CARRIER, SUB-ASSY, JACK(FOR REAR FLOOR). SPECIAL UTILITY PACKAGE-WITH PRIUS PLUG-IN (ZVW35) $3.48 587905202058766 COVER, JACK BOX HOLE. (These diagrams are for the LHD XVW35 so, while I'm not sure it's for the US, it's clearly not for the JDM. The trim levels are listed as G, S, and L though.) These almost look like they would fit either under the front or rear passenger seat area. Has anyone ever found these parts in their PiP? Or know they were removed for the US models?
In my Toyota Corolla Wagon, the jack was hidden in the passenger-side rear quarter-panel, behind a small hatch immediately in front of the rear light cluster. DROID4 ?
