Anyone ever use one of those GPS mounts that goes into your CD player slot? I need a new mount for my Garmin in my c and was wondering if they work well...any thoughts??
I have the CD player mount for my cell phone. I love it. It blocks the screen on my 4 just a tad, but not enough that I can't use it. The garmin mount will probably be bigger, but then you have the 2, so it may not be a problem for you.
I have the Garmin 2555 and am using the stock windshield mount - works great on the left side mounted such as the unit is within 1 inch of hitting the dash. When it's on its easy to see and when off I don't notice its there. When I'm not using the 2555 and have it in my glove box the mount is basically invisible.
