I was more than satisfied with my 2011 prius 4 with solar roof and thought it would be my last only 41,000 miles and I moved my 95 year old mother into my home for good after a stroke. i found if i took my scooter and a walker i had to loose the back seat.I checked out the prius v five and no longer loose any seating with the scooter and two walkers so here i go again.Found a new 2012 prius v five loaded and made the trade three days ago. I expected a big drop in mpg but in the last 120 miles i am seeing 49 mpg.so far love it. my wife is retired from tmmk and this is my seventh prius and i thought i knew it all until i tried the park assist, boy am i dumb but i will get there, just have to read a little more and practice.
Duanerw. The V has that much more room than a regular Prius? Or is it the added head room in the storage area? H
I seriously looked at the V. I even rented one for a day just to get a good "test drive" on one. Tried to buy one too! Bought what I did due to pricing and limits of my budget. The "V" is a great car. Looks and feels like a scaled down "Station Wagon". Ron (dorunron)
