Trip from Minden Hills to Peterborough. Daytime, declining elevation, 90% hilly, curvy County roads, 10% City.

    55 MPG (US)
    66 MPG (Imperial)

that's very similar to my experience. I am incredibly happy to have made the move to our 2010 Prius. One of the best car buys ever ;)

Sounds like a typical Prius C fuel mileage for the conditions. On March 31, 2014, I made a 35.9 mile trip along the hilly and winding Merritt Parkway in Connecticut. The MFD indicated 57.2 MPG with outside temperature 54F. Trip average speed was 42.2 MPH but about 48 MPH for 30 miles on the Parkway. I did the same trip again last night in my 2011 G3 Prius and the MFD indicated 61.5 MPG. Great cars.

My return trip that night was not so impressive. 5.1L/100Km.

So the average is somewhere in the neighbourhood of 4.7L/100km (50 US MPG).
