In other words instead of the steady sound of locusts like a buzzy CVT, the hybrid has a traditional transmission sound: Brrrmmm (shift) brrrmmm (shift) brrrmmmm. Here's all the ones I know about: Manual hybrids: Insight G1, Civic G1, CR-Z Auto hybrids: Accord G1 (planetary gearset) Fit G2 (electronic shift gearing) Jetta (DSG) Sonata (not sure)
Whatever that means. Is it a traditional automatic with torque converter, or an automatic manual like DSG?
