I reckon Id be (speaking electrically ) dead if it wasnt for the people in this forum it ran perfectly today, but the shoot was a long one as the weather was optimum so I wasnt able to get some time to get to the city Ive had phone contact with Toyota (yes they were getting in touch with Melbourne) but this Exide sounds interesting on charge again tonight, taking as few chances as I can
This happened to me last week. I tried another battery with no luck so I got out my trusty multi tester and got to work. Checked all the fuses for continuity but all perfect and then checked the relays. Turned out the parking control and the dip beam relay are the exact same. Swapped them round and my problem was gone. Strangely enough the seemingly dud relay works perfectly with the dips. 2004 Prius.
